Once again, Vanity Trove never ceases to brighten up my day. I love being at the receiving end of surprises. Better still, if the surprises were filled with beauty products. About 2 weeks ago, I received this month’s box of beauty treasures at work. If I may be specific, it was a really hectic day with back-to-back meetings at the office and boy, did it put a smile to my face and drains the unhappiness away.

Enavose Invisible Sunbrella UV Mist SPF 45
Some key words that you should remember when choosing sun-protection are UVA, UVB and SPF. The Sunbrella is the new generation of sunscreen that merges photo protection with cellular repair technology. This sunscreen offers broad spectrum UVA (which causes aging of skin) and UVB (which causes sunburn) while maintaining an SPF protection of 45. The micro vapourised mist conveniently applies evenly and is quickly absorbed into the skin.
It is said to be used under of over makeup. Personally, I would not recommend it over makeup because, eventhough it is a mist, it is thicker than a makeup setting spray and might ruin your nicely made up face.
However, what I like about this is the convenience and the fact that it does not leave any white shadow on the face like some sunscreen do.

Ettusais BB Mineral Cream
BB creams and tinted moisturizers are my weekend go-to bases. This BB cream is filled with 79% of skincare ingredients, said to hide pores, evens out skintone, provide coverage and oil control, hydrates skin, prevents acne and most importantly, sun protection with SPF 30 PA+++.
It is very light and fluffy when swatched, as you can see from the pictures above, the coverage is also pretty nice. It covered my some of the hyperpigmentation on my hand.

YADAH Lip Crayon
First impressions of this was that it looks just like the Clinique Chubby Stick minus the plasticky smell! This crayon provides a sheer hint of color to your lips. It contains tocopherol that helps keep lips healthy and moisturized. It is actually recommended to be used over lip balm but I find this to be pretty moisturizing on it’s own.

Erabelle Skin Treatment Mask
Erabelle is a cute spa located in bugis with ladies in kimono helping you with your treatment. I tend to associate Erabelle with eyebrow shaping and didn’t realise that they have masks too. This mask is said to refresh stressed, dehydrated skin to restore suppleness. It is also supposed to help boost the skin’s cell repair and moisture retention ability while promoting skin fairness by inhibiting the formation of melanin. I can’t wait to try this out!!

DirtyWorks Buff Your Stuff Body Scrub
The first step to a beautiful skin or tanning regime is to have your skin thoroughly scrubbed clean. This cream-like body scrub is soft to touch with microbeads which helps exfoliate the dead skin cells off your skin. I tried it out yesterday and I love it! I love how I can actually feel the microbeads working into my skin rather than some scrubs which have microbeads so fine that it totally defeats the purpose.
